GET COVERED WITH MHA’S FREE HEALTH INSURANCE SEMINARS

Nashville, TN — October 17, 2016 (UPDATED) — With health insurance continuing to make headlines in Tennessee and beyond, Music Health Alliance, the music industry’s non-profit healthcare advocate, is offering a series of FREE “Get Covered” seminars open to everyone in the music industry. The monthly programs will take place in partnership with MusiCares and are designed to inform and empower the music community, from self-employed professionals to those covered under their employer’s policy, to identify health insurance options. Seminars will be led by Music Health Alliance’s Tatum Hauck Allsep, founder and 2016 Healthcare Hero recipient, and Shelia Shipley-Biddy, Director of Operations and Certified Senior Advisor®. Open enrollment takes place November 1, 2016 through January 31, 2017 with Medicare open enrollment running October 15, 2016 to December 7, 2016.

DESCRIPTION: Music Health Alliance Get Covered 101 For Music Professionals is a simplified health insurance enrollment workshop offering onsite assistance with insurance enrollment. This free seminar for music professionals will provide clear information about options available on Healthcare.gov and with private health insurance. This workshop will answer your questions and equip you to enroll or change your insurance when open enrollment begins on November 1, 2016.
